The places you will see
- Masjid Quba — the first mosque built in Islam; praying two rak'ahs here carries a great reward.
- Masjid al-Qiblatayn — where the qiblah changed from Jerusalem to Makkah.
- Mount Uhud and the graves of the martyrs of Uhud, including Hamzah رضي الله عنه.
- The Seven Mosques near the site of the Battle of the Trench (Khandaq).
Many pilgrims also visit the date farms on the way. Tell your driver which places matter most to you.
Timing
A Madinah city Ziyarat usually takes a few hours. Saturday morning is a popular time to visit Quba, following the Sunnah. The driver returns you to your hotel in time for prayer at Masjid an-Nabawi.
